La Bête Dans la Jungle

Emerging in the Viennese indie and electronic music underground in the mid-2000s, Dino Spiluttini found his artistic voice in bands like Liger, and running his own label Beatismurder Records.
After moving to Berlin and subsequently Hamburg, he switched his focus to producing largely beatless electronic music, as well as mixing, mastering, and producing for other artists.

Spiluttini approaches contemporary electronic music with pointed emotional dynamics. His work often displays an anxious or brooding yearning for fulfilment and respite from troubled embodiment, frustrated identity, or worldly unease.

He has released albums on legendary labels such as Editions Mego and Umor Rex.

Recent years saw him expanding into the territory of film scoring, his latest work being the music for Patric Chiha’s La Bête Dans la Jungle, which had its premiere at the Berlinale in 2023.
